About The Online Lessons

All Loquella's language lessons are based on the method and material created by the Foreign Service Institute. The lessons can be accessed online, or can be downloaded to your MP3 player. The first few language lessons are offered free online for each language. With your subscription you get access to all the online languages lessons (Spanish, French and Mandarin Chinese) offered on the site.

Language Course Method

Loquella's online language tool allows users to listen to and read each sentence or phrase simultaneously. Instead of just listening to each sentence or phrase as students do with most audio based language lessons, the language tool displays the corresponding text along with the audio in the foreign language. This method allows students to better retain the vocabulary they are learning as well as how to pronounce each word.

The method used in these language lessons was developed by the Foreign Service Institute and focuses on "over-learning" the language through repetition and language drills. The FSI method will allow you to perfect your pronunciation, and memorize words and sentences no matter what context they are in. You will read, listen to and repeat many variations of the same phrases and sentences, so you will completely understand how to use similar words in different contexts and situations. Question - What is your return policy?
Answer - If you are not happy for any reason with your subscription, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund your money.

Question - How long does my subscription to the online language lessons last?
Answer - Your subscription lasts until you cancel it. Once you subscribe, you will continue to be charged on a monthly basis until you manually cancel your subscription. You can also write to us using the Contact Us link at the top of each page and we can cancel the subscription for you.

Question - How do I cancel my subscription?
Answer - If you subscribed before March 6, 2012 using PayPal, login to the PayPal account you used to subscribe to the online language lessons originally. Follow these steps:

On the login page, click "all account activity"
Select "Subscriptions" in the drop down menu.
Select the date range for when you subscribed originally and press "search"
Select "Details" next to Loquella
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Click on Cancel Subscription

Answer - If you subscribed after March 6, 2012, login here to manage your account information. Follow these steps:

Click "View and manage my subscriptions"
Click "Cancel Subscription" at the top of the page
You will again be asked to "Cancel Subscription"
A screen will ask you why you are canceling. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
Finally, Click "Cancel Subscription" one last time, and you are all done. You will not be billed again. If you want a refund within 30 days of subscribing, please use the Contact Us form to submit a request for a refund. Please do not ask for a refund in the "Reason for Cancellation" area.

Learn Spanish - Loquella offers 63 Spanish lessons, which are divided into four levels of difficulty on the MP3 lessons. The first three Spanish lessons can be accessed free online. For access to the full online language course, please subscribe.
Learn French - Loquella offers 12 French lessons, which are divided into two levels of difficulty on the MP3 lessons. The first lesson is available free online. For access to the full online language course, please subscribe.
