By hearing and reading each sentence or phrase you will be able to retain vocabulary and master pronunciation faster than by hearing audio alone. The iPod French lessons will play continuously on your iPod once you begin a lesson, but you can go faster or go backwards using your players back and forward buttons. This way, you can go through each sentence as quickly or slowly as necessary. A three second pause is automatically provided between each sentence so you have enough time to repeat what you heard out loud. You can also pause the French lesson at any time.

Learn French Level I

French Level I contains six lessons for a total time of 13 hours. In each lesson you will learn French based on the method created by the Foreign Service Institute (FSI). Each lesson covers basic vocabulary and basic sentence construction using the "drill to over learn" method. Each lesson consists of vocabulary and pronunciation drills, along with basic grammar tips. Learn French Level II

French Level II contains six lessons for a total of 16 hours. In each lesson you will learn French based on the method created by the Foreign Service Institute (FSI). Level II is a direct continuation of Level I. However, French Level II introduces more concepts and new vocabulary, in addition to pronunciation drills and more advanced grammar lessons. It is not necessary to have done French Level I if you have a good foundation of French, but it is recommended because Level I sets up the foundation for future vocabulary and pronunciation drills that are used throughout future levels.
